Went to what’s becoming my starting point, just a regular bar. Had a couple of drinks before going to Zanzabar. Was dead, so walked in and out. Next went to 17 Saloon, a place with a supposedly great live filipino band. 20,000 VND ($2 USD) to get to the bar by motorbike taxi. They lived up to it. The drinks were expensive though, so I left ($4 USD per drink). After haggling between 50,000 VND and 20k to return to my starting point, the driver agreed. When he dropped me off, he insisted on 50k. Blatantly trying to rip me off, I get pissed. Long story short, I pay 25k.

In a sour mood, I went back to my starting point to vent to the bartender and cool down. Then went to Snow Bar. Nothing happening but I meet a couple of Japanese guys doing the same thing. Their story is pretty much the same: barhopping, looking for specific types of ladies, not willing to overpay.

Went to Two Sisters next, have a couple of drinks before going to Circle K / convenience store to get soup and go to sleep. Have a couple of more places to try out tonight, so far not my scene.
